The Comancheria Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution is co-hosting a Veterans Day barbecue lunch with the Wheeler Historical Museum and Vietnam veteran Steve Walker, aka Mr. Barbecue, at 11 am on Thursday, Nov. 11. All three Canadian Wildcat sub-varsity teams won blowouts against the Tulia Hornets last Thursday, starting with a 44-8 thumping by the seventh-grade squad, followed by a closer 40-22 victory by the eighthgraders, and topped off with a 45-0 final by the junior varsity.
