AUSTIN—The Canadian Wildcats’ and Lady Cats’ track-and-field season came to an end with seven athletes getting to showcase their skills on the grand stage of Mike A. Myers Stadium last Thursday.

Families nationwide are scrambling to find baby formula amid a widespread shortage. Rural families are likely having an even harder time since there are fewer local places to buy formula, and because families who use federal assistance can only buy certain formulas. It’s even more difficult to find certain medically necessary specialty formulas. Here’s what you need to know:

Jim Haley’s 20 years of service to the Hemphill County Underground Water Conservation District—and to the residents of Hemphill County—was honored in a reception held Thursday afternoon at the water district offices. Family, friends, staff members, and fellow board members, both past and present, were on hand to thank Haley for his tireless work on their behalf.
