The Hemphill County Hospital Board agreed in its Jan. 17 meeting to hire another nurse practitioner (NP) for Harvester Family Medical Clinic (HFMC) in Pampa. The unanimous vote came after a discussion about the workload of doctors Tony Cook and Cody Culwell.

CMBC says blood supply dangerously low

As winter weather began moving in earlier this week, blood donors began cancelling appointments and blood drives were delayed, forcing an already struggling blood supply to critically low levels. Coffee Memorial Blood Center is asking donors to reschedule appointments as the weather clears.
