The Canadian Volunteer Fire Department is gearing up for its second tribute to the 9/11 firefighters—this one on Saturday, Sept. 11, marking the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attack on the World Trade Center.

This Texas-proud, state championship-winningest grandfather wants to make a wager. Dell Krehbiel is betting that he has won more gold rings, by virtue of his five talented and athletic grandchildren—Canadian Wildcats, all—than anyone else within the Lone Star State’s 268,597 square.
