KD: I have worked for politicians, dipped my toes into construction, served on committees and boards for various philanthropies, all while being a full-time mother with many hobbies. In an annual report to the Canadian City Council, EDC President Remelle Farrar described the last two years as “rebuilding years,” during which council members made three important decisions: 1. To develop a budget below the projected 4A sales tax revenue, in order to ensure the growth of available funding for economic development initiatives, such as primary job development, business retention and expansion, and marketing and promotion.
