Last week’s featured Rotary Club speakers were Hemphill County EMS Director Rich Henkel and Jacob Clifton, who is director of Gray County EMS. Rich explained that Hemphill County has three fullyequipped ambulances with state-of-the-art mobile intensive care equipment.

HELLO, SPRING! We are seeing an uptick in visitors, and that’s a wonderful thing! Last spring was so depressing with so many unknowns. We still have a lot of unknowns, but it doesn’t feel nearly as depressing, especially with the beautiful photographs from Alan Hale on display in the gallery room.

Alan Hale’s Photography Exhibit reception at the River Valley Pioneer Museum, Tuesday evening was well-attended and resulted in the sale of almost half of his prints. Charlie Mann (right), a patron of the show, purchased two prints from Hale. The installation will be open through May.

Canadian River Art Center announces relocation plans

Kayla Gregg was recently named the new director of the Canadian River Art Center, and announced this week that the Center will be relocating soon to a building located at 10954 Exhibition Road. Gregg is preparing now for a big grand opening at their new location, currently scheduled during the Fourth of July weekend.
