Body Jim Ted Slavin, 72 of Miami passed away Sept. 1, 2020 in Canadian. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 2 pm, on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Miami with Rev. Lewis Holland officiating.

Body Billy Dean “Bapa” McMinn, 75, of Pampa (previously of Lefors), went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 26, surrounded by his family at home.

Body Kenneth (Hal) Halland Roberts was born on Oct. 21, 1949, in Chickasaw, Oklahoma, to Juanita (Baird) and E.J. (Pat) Roberts. He entered into heaven on July 29, 2020, to spend eternity with his parents and his beloved wife and best friend of 40 years, Susie. Hal and Susan K.

Body FORT WORTH—The Right Reverend Sam Byron Hulsey died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020. A memorial service will be held when it is safer to gather. Bishop Hulsey’s body was donated to the Willed Body Program at Southwestern Medical School, Dallas.

Body Joy Patton Torian, 80, of Lubbock, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Funeral arrangements were conducted by Broadway Funeral Directors, and visitation was held on Wednesday, June 24.

Body David L. Gilmer, 74, of Briscoe, passed Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 10 am on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Gageby Cemetery with Robert Meller, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Body LaNell Scribner Leonard, 93, formerly of Canadian, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 10 am on Friday, Aug. 7, at Mobeetie Cemetery with Ben Mathers officiating.

Body William (Bill) Karr, age 89, of Temple, died July 21, 2020, at a local hospital. Services are pending due to the pandemic and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Body Stanley Raymond Weeks, 77, of Sharon Springs, Kansas, lost his fight with cancer July 13, 2020. There will be a small military funeral today [Thursday, Aug.

Body Brenda Hall Brown passed away Aug. 1, 2020. She was born June 26, 1957, to Ola Eugene Hall and Bobbie Simpson in Pampa. She grew up in Canadian, and moved to Amarillo before returning to Canadian. Brenda loved the outdoors and spent many days at the lake.
