Body James Evetts Haley Jr. passed away peacefully at Mesa View Sunset House in Canadian on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at 90 years of age. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, with Rev. Kyle Segars and Pat McDaniel officiating.

Body Glen Eugene Dowdy, 91, passed away Feb. 3, 2022. He was a resident at The Continental Independent Living facility in Amarillo at the time of his passing. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, Feb.

Body Marvin Knox, a Baptist pastor who served churches more than six decades, died Jan. 16, 2022, in Marlow, Oklahoma. He was 88. Services were held on Friday, Jan. 21, at Liberty Baptist Church, in Duncan, Oklahoma. Interment took place on Monday, Jan.

Body Jackie Powell, 81, died Friday, Jan. 21, at University Medical Center in Lubbock after a fall at Mesa View Senior Living in Canadian. Private graveside services were held Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Ben Mathers officiating.

Body Norma Allen Patton, 76, of Canadian, passed on Jan. 15, 2022, in Amarillo.

Body Kelsey Bryan went home to be with Jesus on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, in Canadian, following a two-year battle with bladder cancer. Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the First United Methodist Church of Canadian, with Rev. David Gerhardt officiating.
