The Canadian Wildcats (8-1, 3-0) will close out their District schedule Friday night at home, going head-to-head with the Childress Bobcats (7-2, 3-0). The two teams—both undefeated in District play—are vying for the District crown and the No. 1 seed going into the playoffs. It’s not a game to miss.

Dimmitt (5-4, 1-2) and Friona (2-7, 1-2) will face off in a battle for the No. 3 seed in District 1-3A, Division II, while Tulia is out of contention.

Meanwhile, our Pick ‘Em pros are in a dead heat, with both Blake Beedy and Charlie Mann having amassed four gold stars each. The Wildcats’ decisive 65-14 victory over the Dimmitt Bobcats gave Mann another Pick ‘Em star with his 62-20 forecast, edging out Tommy Wyatt’s 68-7 Pick ‘Em by a point.
