Twenty-three avid, green-clad golfers participated in last weekend’s 3rd Annual St. Paddy’s Disc Golf Tournament here—four locals, and the rest from Borger and the surrounding area.

Two properties dominated by buildings way past their prime headlined discussion during the March 16 meeting of the Hemphill County Hospital Board. They are the Canadian Apartment complex and the Edward Abraham Nursing Home, a 60-year-old facility that was replaced by the newly constructed campus of Mesa View Senior Living.

On Monday, Hemphill County Hospital lab reported its first positive COVID-19 test here since February 24. The new test was for a staff member at Mesa View Senior Living.
