Koetting coaches up the Rotarians

Body
At the request of Rotarian Mike Gardiner, CISD Athletic Director and Head Coach Chris Koetting (both in photo above) offered an update on this year’s football team during last week’s Rotary Club meeting. Koetting said this year’s biggest obstacle is that only three starters returned from last year’s team. Most of this year’s players have no varsity experience. The quarterback and running back are both sophomores.

River Valley Pioneer Museum

Body
Fall Foliage is this weekend, and we can hardly wait! The quilts have been coming in, and they are gorgeous! Be sure to come by and vote for your favorite quilt during the festival. The winner will receive bragging rights in The Canadian Record and on the museum’s scial media accounts. I want to thank Michelle Thompson for gathering up much-needed volunteers to help us this weekend. You took a load off of my plate!
