In "America at a Crossroads with Judy Woodruff," a PBS NewsHour special to air on Tuesday, Dec. 19, Judy Woodruff will take a look back at the first nine months of a two-year project she embarked on to explore the deep divisions and distrust among Americans.
Christmas came early to firefighters in Canadian, Gem City and Briscoe Wednesday evening. Hemphill County landowners Salem Abraham and Trey and Anita Webb announced the presentation of generous gift cards to each of 56 fire department volunteers in gratitude for the dangerous and difficult work they do.
Janet Kaye Courange, age 59, of West Odessa, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023. A visitation for Janet will be held Monday, December 18, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Odessa Funeral Home, 1700 N Jackson Ave, Odessa, Texas 79761. A funeral service will occur on Tuesday, December 19, from 10 am to 11 am at Crescent Park Baptist Church, 3002 E University Blvd, Odessa, Texas 79762.
As has become our annual holiday tradition, we could not resist once again asking CHS/CMS Wildcat Art students to share their beautiful—and sometimes humorous—images of Christmas. And once again, these young artists have inspired us with their Christmas magic.
