School

From the Superintendent Dr. Lynn Pulliam

Body
I would like to say am excited to start the 2021-22 school year; however, it is probably more fitting to use the phrase “cautiously optimistic.” I am undoubtably excited about getting our students and staff back together for what I am confident will be another successful and fun year of learning and achieving throughout our district. And yet, I am also concerned about the current COVID trend and the potential impact it could have on our community and our school system.

As I begin my third year in this role, I feel blessed to be the principal at Canadian High School. CHS has a wonderful student body and an outstanding staff. Overall, CHS students work hard and treat others with kindness and respect, and our teachers truly care for their students. Both students and teachers strive to continue CHS’s long tradition of achieving academic and extracurricular excellence.

The CMS staff is ready to roll out the red carpet for our students in the 2021-22 school year. It is going to be an amazing year at CMS. We are especially excited to get back to hosting the fun events that we were not able to have last year:

Body
The Canadian ISD Technology and Curriculum Department is ready to tackle the 2021-22 school year! Another busy summer is coming to an end. The technology team has been hard at work getting iPads ready to be checked out as soon as students return to classes. Last school year was our first year to have iPads for all Pre-K through 12th-grade students. Each CISD student has access to an iPad, a keyboard/case, and a digital writing utensil. These tools proved to be incredibly helpful last year as we navigated the COVID learning world and worked to support our students in all instructional settings.

Hello, Canadian Elementary students, staff, and parents. The new school year brings excitement and anticipation, and I know this year is no different. The staff and I have worked diligently to make sure your child has an excellent learning opportunity. At Canadian Elementary, we will put relationships before rigor, grace before grades, patience before programs, and love before lessons.
