Seventy-four eighth-grade students will receive diplomas signifying their graduation from Canadian Middle School tomorrow evening (Friday, May 20), in commencement ceremonies to be held at the Canadian High School gymnasium.

Sixty Canadian High School seniors will receive the diplomas during the Saturday, May 21, commencement ceremony held at Wildcat Stadium. The ceremony will begin at 10 am with the class processional onto the field, followed by an invocation presented by Maude Culwell, and a welcome by Logan Gatlin.

In their annual 2021-22 awards assembly held Tuesday at the Texas Crown Performance Hall, Canadian Middle School honored the top 10 students in each class, presented Go-Getter and Citizenship Awards, and announced this year’s valedictorian and salutatorian of the eighth-grade class: Sage Saenz and Sophia Mills. Awards were also presented to the outstanding students in each subject.
