Behind the magic at the Palace Theatre

Body
David Gerhardt invited Ray and Natalie Weeks (in photo above) to speak to the Rotary Club last week. We all take the movie theatre for granted, but so much goes on behind the scenes so that we can just walk in with our popcorn and drink and lose ourselves in the story on the screen.

Jon Dumbauld shares Fort Bragg adventures

Body
Jon Dumbauld was among 300 people invited to take part in a Special Operations Command presentation at Fort Bragg. This annual event allows participants an opportunity to see the capabilities of the Army Special Operations Forces (ARSOF) up close. It is a chance to gain deeper insight into military life, equipment, training, and missions. During his time there, Dumbauld was able to see some of the base, including a Memorial Wall, where two soldiers stand guard 24/7, much like the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A full city has been built within Fort Bragg for training purposes.
