The November 4, 2025, Special Election, Part One
What Voters Need to Know
EDITOR'S NOTE: This information is the first of a series which we will publish here in the next four weeks leading up to the November 4 election. Our goal is to provide as much information as possible to the public on issues of importance to this community and to the State of Texas that will be on the Constitutional Amendment and Special Election ballots. In the reports to follow, we will offer more detailed information on both the proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution, and on three local election issues: Bond elections for both the City of Canadian and Fort Elliott CISD, and the election of a new Canadian ISD school board trustee to fill the vacancy left by Dr. Cody Culwell. In addition, we will do our best to answer any questions that we may not have already addressed. To contact us, please email editor@canadianrecord.com. -- LAURIE EZZELL BROWN, EDITOR/PUBLISHER, THE CANADIAN RECORD
