Barbara Gale Best, née Wheeler, 76, of Pottsboro, passed away in her home on the evening of Monday, March 8. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

Gale was born June 22, 1944, in Wheeler, to Kenneth L. Wheeler and Dorris M. Wheeler, née Manney.

She was preceded in death by her parents and many beloved pets; she was a lifelong lover of animals.
