Ronald Rayburn “Pirate” Spence, of Amarillo, died Oct. 13, 2019. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 10 am, at the Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Amarillo.

Ronald was born Feb. 9, 1951, in Plainview, to Rayburn and Ollie Mae Spence. He married the love of his life, Mary Lancaster, in 1971, and, together, they had two children. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed tinkering around the shop. Some of his hobbies included building airplanes, working on cars, playing the lottery, but most of all, being with his family.

Erbin L. Crowell, 105, of Canadian, died Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019. Services were held on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 3 pm, at the First United Methodist Church of Canadian, with Pastor Lewis Holland and Pastor David Gerhardt officiating. Graveside services followed at Edith Ford Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
