Wilbur N. Killebrew Jr., 82, of Pampa, died Jan. 4, 2020, in Amarillo. Celebration of life services were held today, Thursday, Jan. 9, at 10 am, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa, with John Curry and Rev. Ruby Moultrie, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial followed at 2 pm at Edith Ford Cemeteries of Canadian, under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.

Marion G. Hill, 92, of Amarillo, died Dec. 29, 2019, in Amarillo. Memorial services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, at the Washington Avenue Christian Church, with Gary Jahnel officiating. Services are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Matthew John Crawford, 41, of Vega, died Jan. 7, 2020. Services will be held at 3 pm on Friday, Jan. 10, at Vega High School Auditorium, with John Herweg and Winfield Davenport officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega, with Charles Davenport officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in Amarillo. Viewing will be 10 am–1 pm, Friday, Jan. 10, at the First Baptist Church in Vega.

The multi-county Top of Texas Cotton Conference will be hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service on Jan. 15 at the M.K. Brown Auditorium, located at 1100 W. Coronado Drive in Pampa.

The AgriLife Extension offices in Carson, Gray, Roberts, Wheeler, and Armstrong counties are collaborating to address the concerns of cotton producers in the region.
The program will begin with registration at 8:30 am and conclude by 2 pm. Preregistration is requested by 5 pm, Jan. 13, to the AgriLife Extension office in Gray County at 806.669.8033.
