Former Harlem Globetrotter Melvin Adams will speak to students at Canadian ISD next Monday, Dec. 6, bringing his message—both funny and inspirational—on how to make good choices, and to demonstrate both perseverance and grit.

The 7th-Grade Lady Cats have been working, hard preparing for the season. There are only ten girls playing this year, so we don’t have a lot of depth. The girls have been doing a good job during practices and have improved greatly each and every week. Our first game was supposed to be against Dalhart but it was cancelled because Dalhart had a playoff game on that Thursday.

The Canadian Wildcats landed nine players on the 2021 3-3A Division II All-District football team, released on Monday. Canadian was the last team out of the district to be eliminated from the UIL Class 3A Division II playoffs, falling last Friday to Abernathy, 37-26, in a regional semifinal game.
