Canadian Golf Club Report
Last weekend, the Canadian Golf Club hosted the Bucks & Does Golf scramble. The scramble ran all day Saturday and Sunday and 24 teams showed up to compete on the links. The results from the scramble are as follows:
Championship Flight Results
1st Place, Price Barton and Debbie Holtsclaw with a score of 133; 2nd Place, Doug and Sheila McFatridge with a score of 135; 3rd Place, Drew Daniel and Cathy Burnett with a score of 138.
1st Flight
1st Place, Rusty and Dena Baker with a score of 141; 2nd Place; Danny Smith and Denise Salzbrenner with a score of 142; 3rd Place, Brett and Hanna Kauk with a score of 147.
2nd Flight
1st Place, Andy and Penny Orrell with a score of 156; 2nd Place, Cary Priest and Brooke Mc-Quiddy with a score of 160; 3rd Place, Justin McGarraugh and Ryan Lynch with a score of 165.
Last night’s Scramble ended in a carryover with 6 under par. Alan Witcher won the Men’s Long Drive, while Brooke McQuiddy hit the Ladies Long Drive. Price Barton was closest to the pin on No. 2, and Curt McPherson on No. 8.
Coming up next for the Canadian Golf Club is that his Saturday, they will host the 8th Annual Kirk Morrow Scholarship Tournament. All proceeds raised from the tournament fund scholarships for Canadian High School graduates.
Over a dozen teams are expected. Teams will play over 18 holes with the first tee-off slated for 9:30 am.
