Four contestants—Ty Powell, Alex Paredes, Tyler Forell, and Luke Masters—each faced off in a 100-by-100 foot pen against a ton of “mean-ass” bull. Each fight lasted 40 seconds—or an eternity—and was scored just like those of bull riders: 50 possible points for the bull and 50 for the fighter. The top two fighters split the purse. This was a first time this extreme sport was featured at a Canadian rodeo and it kept rodeo fans glued to their seats for the final event both Friday and Saturday nights.
