Amparo Nava Rosales, 104, of Perryton, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2026 in Perryton. A rosary was held Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the Legion Hall in Booker, followed by a vigil at 7 pm. Mass was held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Booker, on Friday, August 14, with burial following in Heart Cemetery. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home, Inc. of Booker.

Amparo was born in Chalchihuites, Zacatecas, Mexico on September 26, 1921, to Leandro Nava and Ana Maria Valdez. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Booker. She loved plants, and she loved her dog Nube. She loved family gatherings and she loved spending time with her family.

Amparo is survived by seven sons: Jose Rosales and Jesus Rosales, both of Booker; Pascual Rosales and Jose Dolores Rosales, both of Mexico; Cecilio Rosales and Manuel Rosales, both of Booker; and Martin Rosales of Perryton,; by three daughters, Ana Maria Salas and Maria Elena Rosales, both of Perryton, and Luisa Avila of Canadian; by her beloved dog Nube Rosales; and by fifty-five grandchildren and over 150 great-grandchildren.

Amparo was preceded in death by her parents; her spouse Luis Rosales; one son, Felix Rosales; and three grandsons, Abraham Rosales, Daniel Rosales, and Hugo Rosales.
