Body Betty Cecille Plymesser passed from this life on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 91. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 2 pm at the United Methodist Church of Arnett, with interment to follow at DeBolt Cemetery.

Body Jimmy “Jim” Benton Alvey went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020, in Lake Kiowa.

Body Robert L. Hodges, 77, of Amarillo, passed away peacefully at home early Tuesday morning, Sept. 1, 2020. Visitation will be held at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 3, from 6-7 pm. Services will be on Friday, Sept.

Body Jim Ted Slavin, 72 of Miami passed away Sept. 1, 2020 in Canadian. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 2 pm, on Thursday, Sept. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Miami with Rev. Lewis Holland officiating.

Body Billy Dean “Bapa” McMinn, 75, of Pampa (previously of Lefors), went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 26, surrounded by his family at home.

Body Kenneth (Hal) Halland Roberts was born on Oct. 21, 1949, in Chickasaw, Oklahoma, to Juanita (Baird) and E.J. (Pat) Roberts. He entered into heaven on July 29, 2020, to spend eternity with his parents and his beloved wife and best friend of 40 years, Susie. Hal and Susan K.

Body FORT WORTH—The Right Reverend Sam Byron Hulsey died Thursday, Aug. 6, 2020. A memorial service will be held when it is safer to gather. Bishop Hulsey’s body was donated to the Willed Body Program at Southwestern Medical School, Dallas.

Body Joy Patton Torian, 80, of Lubbock, passed away from this life on Saturday, June 20, 2020. Funeral arrangements were conducted by Broadway Funeral Directors, and visitation was held on Wednesday, June 24.

Body David L. Gilmer, 74, of Briscoe, passed Monday, Aug. 3, 2020, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 10 am on Saturday, Aug. 8, at the Gageby Cemetery with Robert Meller, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Body LaNell Scribner Leonard, 93, formerly of Canadian, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 10 am on Friday, Aug. 7, at Mobeetie Cemetery with Ben Mathers officiating.
