Body John Whitsitt, 83, of Higgins, passed away on Feb. 24, 2021, in Canadian. Graveside services were held on Sunday, Feb. 28, at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Scott Francis, Benny Rupprecht, and Christian Olivas-Day officiating.

Body Nancy Ruth Schwerzenbach, 60, of Canadian, passed away on March 1, 2021, at her home, surrounded by her family. Memorial services will be at 2 pm on Saturday, March 6, at the First United Methodist Church of Canadian with David Gerhardt, pastor, officiating.

Body Rolla H. Shaller, 83, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021. A private service was held, followed by burial at Dreamland Cemetery. The family received friends on Saturday, Feb. 20 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.

Body Rosemary Dodd, 79, of Mobeetie, passed away on Feb. 19, 2021, at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, from COVID-19 and pneumonia. Services are planned for 1:30 pm on Friday, Feb. 26 at the United Methodist Church in Wheeler, with Matt Gary officiating.

Body Terri Diana Long went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 19, 2021. A memorial service to celebrate Terri’s life is scheduled for 2 pm, Friday, Feb. 26, at Faith Bible Church in Edmond, Oklahoma (600 N. Coltrane Road).

Body Norene Carr Rux, 74, of Archer City, passed away, Saturday night, Feb. 13, 2021, in an Abilene hospital. Services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, Feb. 20, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Verner Hayhurst officiating.

Body Robert Marcellus “Monte” Akridge, 81, passed away on Jan. 30, 2021 at his home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Visitation was Thursday, Feb. 4 at Crawford Funeral Services from 6 pm to 8 pm. Burial took place at 2 pm on Friday, Feb. 5 at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Body Clyde Calvin (Pat) Patrick, 92, of Pampa, entered eternal rest on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021. Graveside services were held on Saturday, Feb. 6, in Wheeler Cemetery with Rev. Jim Fox, pastor of First Baptist Church of Howardwick, officiating.

Body August 29, 1946 – February 5, 2021 Kathryn “Kay” Thompson, 74, of Miami went home to be with her Savior on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 in Canadian.

Body James Thomas Pirtle, 90, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away from Alzheimer’s disease on Jan. 2, 2021.
