Body Jim Bruce Welch, age 61, of Quinlan, took his last canoe ride on Jan. 29, 2022.

Body Lola Katherina (Hildenbrand) Malcolm, age 84, went to rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2022, in Odessa, after a brief illness. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Odessa at 10 am on Thursday, Feb. 17.

Body Betty June Giles Talley, 95, of Canadian, stepped over into glory on Jan. 28, 2022. Memorial services will be at 11 am, on Saturday, Feb. 12, at Abundant Life Assembly of God Church in Canadian with Sherye Talley officiating.

Body James Evetts Haley Jr. passed away peacefully at Mesa View Sunset House in Canadian on Saturday, Feb. 5, 2022, at 90 years of age. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, with Rev. Kyle Segars and Pat McDaniel officiating.

Body Glen Eugene Dowdy, 91, passed away Feb. 3, 2022. He was a resident at The Continental Independent Living facility in Amarillo at the time of his passing. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, Feb.

Body Nancy Jane Young, 81, of Weatherford, Oklahoma, passed away at home one Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022. Funeral services were held on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at First Baptist Church in Weatherford, with Earl Stephenson officiating.

Body Marvin Knox, a Baptist pastor who served churches more than six decades, died Jan. 16, 2022, in Marlow, Oklahoma. He was 88. Services were held on Friday, Jan. 21, at Liberty Baptist Church, in Duncan, Oklahoma. Interment took place on Monday, Jan.
