Area firefighters battled drought- and wind-fed grass fires in frigid conditions at start of week
A grassfire that started in Ochiltree County around 10:30 am Tuesday morning, near the intersection of FM 281 and County Road 23, burned 1,150 acres of rangeland before it was finally quelled.
