Fernand "Tito" Escalante Hernandez was born on May 29, 1965, in the beautiful city of Puebla, Puebla, Mexico, and he embraced life's journey until November 15, 2025, when he passed away in Canadian, Texas. Tito was a man known for his loving spirit, infectious humor, and amicable nature. His life was a testament to his enduring love for his family.

He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and devotion with his beloved wife, Marina Escalante, and their children: Angeles and Leidy, Ana and Luis Escalante; son-in-law Javier Cervantes; grandchildren Celestine and Stephanie Cervantes, son-in-law Luis Pichilla, grandsons Estevan Pichilla, Joshua Solis, Aziel Navarrete, and Evean Escalante; granddaughters Amiyah Navarrete and Destiny Escalante; brother Samuel, sister-in-law Magdalena; nieces Jacklyn and Nerely Escalante and brother-in-law Quintil Dominguez. Each family member found in him a source of joy, guidance, and laughter.

Professionally, Tito dedicated 29 years of his life to Tyson, where he was well-regarded by his colleagues and associates. His commitment to his work continued as a Receiving Manager at Dollar Tree, where his leadership skills and friendly demeanor were greatly valued. Tito was a man of faith, living his life as a devout Catholic, embodying the principles of love and service to others. 

Beyond his family and work, Tito had a zest for life that was evident in his passions. He was an enthusiast of cookouts, where he was the master of ceremonies, grilling up a storm and sharing stories that would leave everyone in stitches. His hands were rarely still, as he found solace and joy in landscaping projects, transforming his and his neighbors' yards into verdant retreats. 

A collector at heart, Tito cherished his unique assortment of Coca Cola bottles, each with a story of its own. His love for travel took him to places far and wide, creating memories that his family will treasure forever. Described as loving, funny, and friendly, Tito's presence was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him. His ability to find humor in the everyday, to befriend strangers with ease, and to love without reservation, made him a pillar in his community and an irreplaceable figure in his family. 

As we say farewell to Fernando "Tito" Escalante Hernandez, we celebrate the indelible mark he left on the world. His laughter echoes in the hearts of those who loved him, and his legacy of kindness and companionship will continue to inspire us all. May he rest in peace, knowing that the love he shared will continue to flourish in the lives he touched

Visitation will be held November 25, from 10 am-8 pm, and Rosary will be held at 6 pm that same day, all at Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City. The funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Wednesday November 26, at St. Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Mexico.

Tito fue un hombre conocido por su espíritu bondadoso, su contagioso humor y su carácter afable. Su vida fue un testimonio de su profundo amor por su familia.

Su compromiso con el trabajo continuó como gerente de recepción en Dollar Tree, donde sus habilidades de liderazgo y su carácter afable eran muy valoradas. Tito era un hombre de fe, un católico devoto que encarnaba los principios del amor y el servicio a los demás. Más allá de su familia y su trabajo, Tito tenía un entusiasmo por la vida que se reflejaba en sus pasiones. Le encantaban las parrilladas, donde era el alma de la fiesta, preparando deliciosas comidas a la parrilla y compartiendo historias que hacían reír a carcajadas a todos. Siempre estaba activo, pues encontraba consuelo y alegría en proyectos de jardinería, transformando su jardín y los de sus vecinos en oasis verdes. Coleccionista de corazón, Tito atesoraba su singular colección de botellas de Coca-Cola, cada una con su propia historia. Su amor por los viajes lo llevó a lugares lejanos, creando recuerdos que su familia guardará para siempre. Descrito como cariñoso, divertido y amigable, la presencia de Tito fue un faro de luz en la vida de quienes lo conocieron. Su capacidad para encontrar humor en lo cotidiano, para entablar amistad con desconocidos con facilidad y para amar sin reservas, lo convirtieron en un pilar de su comunidad y en una figura irremplazable para su familia. Al despedirnos de Fernando "Tito" Escalante Hernández, celebramos la huella imborrable que dejó en el mundo. El velorio se llevará a cabo el 25 de noviembre de 2025 de 10:00 a. m. a 8:00 p. m., y el rosario a las 6:00 p. m. ese mismo día, en la Funeraria Garnand de Garden City. La misa de funeral se celebró a las 11:00 a. m. del miércoles 26 de noviembre de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de Santa María. El sepelio se realizará posteriormente en México.
