Information for Voters in Higgins and Canadian ISDs

IN CANADIAN

Polls will be open on election day from 7 am to 7 pm at the Canadian High School Foyer, 621 S. 5th St., in Canadian.

Early Voting: Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted from 8 am-5 pm, starting Monday, April 20, through Tuesday, April 28, at the Canadian ISD administration building, 800 Hillside, in Canadian.

Ballots By Mail: Applications for early voting by mail should be sent to Belinda Leatherman at 800 Hillside Avenue, Canadian, TX 79014, or by email to belindaleatherman@canadianisd.net. Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on Monday, April 20, 2020.

Voter Qualifications: Individual must be a registered voter with current address in the district and must be a resident at least 30 days prior to election. The deadline to register to vote is Thursday, April 2, 2020.

IN HIGGINS

Polls will be open on election day from 7 am to 7 pm at Higgins City Hall, 201 N. Main St., in Higgins.

Early Voting: Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted from 8 am-4 pm, starting Monday, April 20, through Tuesday, April 28, at the Higgins ISD nurse’s office, 406 N. Main St., in Higgins.

Ballots By Mail: Applications for early voting by mail should be sent to Mavonteine Slavin, PO Box 281, Higgins, TX 79046, or by email to mavonteine.slavin@region16. net. Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on Monday, April 20, 2020.
