UIL reclassification, realignment for 2020-22 announced Monday

The biennial University Interscholastic League reclassification and realignment for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years was released Monday, Feb. 3. The new alignments, established by enrollment figures submitted to the UIL by its member schools in October, will serve as the football, basketball, and volleyball districts for the next two school years.
This was the chaotic scene Monday at the Region 16 Service Center in Amarillo, where UIL officials announced the official reclassification and realignment assignments for the next two school years.
