Kaylee Richardson receives '25 Abraham Award at CMS commencement
Fifty-three eighth-graders received diplomas Friday evening, signifying their graduation from Canadian Middle School.
During Friday’s commencement ceremony, held in the high school gymnasium, Superintendent Julia McMaines presented Kaylee Richardson the 2025 Abraham Cup. The honor is based on leadership, citizenship, sportsmanship, and personality, as well as awards, honors and accomplishments during their 7th and 8th grade years.
Maddlynn Longoria is named 2024 CMS Abraham Cup winner
During Friday evening’s Canadian Middle School commencement ceremony at the high school gymnasium, Valedictorian Maddlynn Longoria was awarded the 2024 Abraham Cup by Superintendent Lynn Pulliam. The honor is based on leadership, citizenship, sportsmanship, and personality, as well as awards, honors and accomplishments during their 7th and 8th grade years.
CMS Valedictorian Bridger Burrus is Abraham Cup honoree
Sixty-four eighth-grade students received diplomas signifying their graduation from Canadian Middle School Friday evening, May 19, in commencement ceremonies held at the CHS gymnasium.
Following a salutatory address by Joseph Dominguez, and a valedictory address by Bridger Burrus, CMS Principal Megan Longoria presented the eighth-grade class to members of the CISD Board of Trustees, who awarded diplomas to each student.
