The Canadian boys and girls teams both placed in the top five at the District 1-3A/2-3A Area track-and-field meet at Lubbock-Cooper on Wednesday afternoon.

The Wildcats came in third place, totaling 78 points, while advancing a total of five individuals and two relay squads to the Region I-3A meet set for next Friday and Saturday in Abilene.
