Eight CHS runners to compete in State Cross Country Meet

Eight athletes will represent Canadian High School in the 2024 UIL Cross Country State Meet, which will be held Friday and Saturday, November 1-2, at Old Settlers Park in Round Rock. The Lady Wildcat team of Seniors Brooklyn Beedy, Arionna Black, Elizabeth Guerrero, Payton Lee, and Konnar McClendon, Junior Kimora Morales and Freshman Kate Escarcega, will kick off their 3A Girls run at 9:30 am Saturday, followed by Wildcat Sophomore Joseph Dominguez, who will compete individually among 3A Boys at 10 am.

Spectator tickets are available online at https://events.hometownticketing.com/organization/5468d9cd-a061-4496-bd2d-ffb1c4d3f0d2. The tickets will be sold by car. Vehicles with up to two persons will cost $25 plus service fees. Vehicles with more than two persons will be charged $40 plus service fees. The price paid by car for parking will be considered entry into the event. Advance online ticket purchases are recommended. Tickets purchased onsite can be paid for by credit/debit cards only. No cash transactions will be available.
