Funeral services for Kevin Eugene Chaney, 64, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, were held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Cement Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home.

Kevin Eugene Chaney was born January 26, 1960, in Canadian, Texas, to Clint and Francis Chaney. He graduated from Cement High School in 1978. He went straight to work in the oil field out of high school and had a 40-plus year career working all over the world, breaking numerous records, and receiving awards for his achievements. Kevin leaves behind his two sons, both of whom he was so proud. Kevin enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and collecting all kinds of treasures. Kevin adored his two dogs.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Misti Hurd; two sons: Clint Chaney and his wife, Denielle; and Chancy Chaney and his wife, Whitney; his seven grandchildren: CJ, Cadon, Emma, Evelyn, Lexi, Addison, and Creed Chaney; his great-granddaughter, Rylen Chaney; his parents, Clint and Francis Chaney; his three brothers: Danny Chaney and his wife Deneva; Philip Chaney and his wife Cheryl; and Jerry Chaney and his wife Lavern; his sister Tracy Gibson and her husband Johnny; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.
