Stanley Raymond Weeks, 77, of Sharon Springs, Kansas, lost his fight with cancer July 13, 2020. There will be a small military funeral today [Thursday, Aug. 6] at 10 am in the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Wakeeney, followed by a come-and-go Celebration of Life from 5 pm through 7 pm at the CAB Building in Sharon Springs.

Brenda Hall Brown passed away Aug. 1, 2020. She was born June 26, 1957, to Ola Eugene Hall and Bobbie Simpson in Pampa. She grew up in Canadian, and moved to Amarillo before returning to Canadian. Brenda loved the outdoors and spent many days at the lake.

Fern Marie Gitchell Young was 83 when she passed on Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be at 10 am on Saturday, Aug.

Annette Petree Lippold, 88, of Canyon, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020. Services will be at 1 pm on Friday, July 24, at the First United Methodist Church of Canyon with Rev. Charlie Keys, associate pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Brooks Funeral Directors.

Robert Joesiah “R.J.” Smith, 91, of Wheeler, died Saturday, July 18, 2020 in Canadian. Graveside services were held at 10 am, Wednesday, July 22, at the Wheeler Cemetery with Randy Jackson, officiating.

Verona Manning Cheatheam passed away on July 17, 2020, in the Hemphill County Hospital in Canadian. Burial services are pending.

Joel Lynch, of Fritch, died on July 9, 2020, at the age of 83. Interment for the family was held at Westlawn Cemetery, west of Borger at 10 am on Saturday, July 11 with Celebration of Life services at the Fritch Church of Christ at 2 pm, with Mr. Richard Kasko officiating and eulogy by Robin Adkins. Services were under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Terri Jane Knocke passed from her earthly home on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, in Pampa. The family has entrusted the care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.

Edna L. Haydon passed away on July 11, 2020.

Lacy Nicole Schaef, 33, formerly of Guymon, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020, in Oklahoma City, The daughter of Tommy Michael and Kimberly Ilene (Edens) Schaef, Lacy was born on Dec. 12, 1986, in Guymon.
