Joyce Julaine Newton was born September 8, 1971, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She lost her two-month battle with ovarian cancer on December 12, 2023. She was surrounded at home by loved ones. A celebration of life was held December 15 at the First Presbyterian Chapel in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Dannie Louise Welch Morris, 93, passed away peacefully into the presence of the Lord early Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 23, 2023, at M&S Grace Manor Adult Family Home in Bellingham, WA.
Dannie was born at home to Walter Columbus and Fannie Mae Welch on March 10, 1930, in Hemphill County near Canadian, Texas. From the family home in the country, she went to Washita, Pleasant Valley, and Blue Ridge Grade Schools and then to Canadian High School where she graduated May 29, 1947, and was a member of the National Honor Society.
