The Region 1 Wildlife Management and Area 1 Range Evaluation contests were held at the Matador Wildlife Management Area on Monday.

The range-evaluation team of Peyton Dockray, Jessica Stiner, and Cescilly Beach placed first.

The wildlife-management team of Callie Vinson, Peyton Dockray, Aubrie Poe, and Karson Thompson placed second in the region.
