The City of Canadian is proud to announce that its Recycling Center has been recognized by Keep Texas Beautiful for 15 years of outstanding recycling efforts.

This recognition reflects the City’s long-standing commitment to environmental stewardship, waste reduction, and providing residents with a reliable recycling program that benefits the entire community. In 2025 alone, the City’s recycling efforts saved 757 trees, conserved 311,710 gallons of water, and prevented 400,770 pounds of air pollution.

“Receiving this recognition for 15 years of outstanding recycling efforts is something our community can be proud of,” said Mayor Terrill Bartlett. “This award reflects the consistent work of our staff and the continued support of our residents who have made recycling a priority in Canadian.”

The City appreciates the staff and residents who have helped make the Recycling Center a success and remains committed to keeping Canadian clean and sustainable for years to come.
