My tomato plants look horrid, just horrid, BUT they are still producing lovely little red fruit, so I will ignore the brown and limp foliage and make this delicious pasta. Roasting any vegetable enhances the flavor, and with tomatoes, it brings out a wonderful rich sweetness. Red pepper flakes bring a touch of heat, and the Romano cheese smooths it all out.
