Arbuckle, a 2014 Canadian High School graduate, and former standout quarterback of the Wildcats, is expected to be the next Washington State University offensive coordinator after just one season at Western Kentucky.

Wildcat varsity trades turf for the hard court

The Canadian Wildcat basketball team finally opened their 2022-23 campaign by competing at the Gruver Holiday Christmas Classic before a non-district matchup at Panhandle on Tuesday. The Wildcats went 2-1 at the Gruver Tournament, beating Stratford 54-48 and taking down Boys Ranch 64-40 before suffering a loss to Pampa 58-35.

Lady Cats wrap up a win vs. Lubbock Trinity before Christmas break

Canadian’s Lady Cat basketball team will head to the Christmas break with some momentum after beating Lubbock Trinity 65-27 on the road Monday.

After falling in a tough 47-45 clash versus Clarendon on Friday, Canadian was able to rebound and head to a much-needed break with a convincing victory. The Lady Cats never trailed Trinity, opening the game with a 21-8 run and owning a dominating 34-15 advantage by halftime.

Canadian hits the Wall, claims another Region 1 state quarterfinal trophy

Canadian had yet another outstanding performance in all phases of a 45-10 thumping of the Wall Hawks at Lubbock-Cooper’s Pirate Stadium on Friday night. Once again, the Wildcats are the kings of Region I as Canadian heads to the UIL state semifinals for the eighth time in nine years to take on familiar rival Gunter.
