THANK ALL OF YOU for the blessing in reporting our local news and needs, our births and deaths, our wins and defeats, most of all, our community services. Courage, Tenacity, and Integrity---you have won again! You have honored Genesis 12:2-3, “Blessed to be a Blessing.”

We could talk about hundreds of thousands of the Record’s articles, but time will not permit. Realize we are thankful and proud of your family and team you have.

I close with the Blessing of Shalom. In Hebrew, the word has many significant meanings throughout scriptures. It is a prayer, a blessing, a deep desire, and a benediction.

My friend, Sandie Cook, sent this poem (author unknown) to me that fits your departure.
