Whatta Watermelon!

Body
Five-year-old Paislee Harrison couldn’t have been more pleased than she was when she finally harvested this beautiful watermelon, recently. It wasn’t so much the size of the melon—which was impressive—as it was the fact that she had grown it herself, from some seeds her Great Papa had given her. Paislee’s mother, Amber, said her daughter started those seeds inside, then replanted them outside, where she carefully watered them and watched the fruit form. “She has been biting at the bit to pull it, and it is finally ready,” Amber said, adding, “Her Great Papa has always grown the best watermelons in all of Dumas, Texas. Now, he has some competition…Little Miss Paislee Harrison!” Great Papa is Bigbee Phillips…and we imagine he is mighty proud, too.
