Harold "Hack" Coffee, 78, of Canadian, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 in Canadian, Texas.

Memorial services will be 2 pm Sunday, April 7, at the Methodist Church of Canadian with Steve Rader officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Brandy Wright of CBR (Canadian Barrel Racers) has started a barrel racing series, called the Out of the Ashes 4D Barrel Race Buckle Series.The first jackpot was a benefit for the Davina Family who lost everything in the fires, and was held March 29. It raised a little over $2,000 for the family. The next event will be held on Thursday, April 4, at the Canadian Rodeo Arena.
