CANYON—West Texas A&M University’s Harrington String Quartet will close its season with a newly commissioned work that’s intimately tied to each of its members.
The quartet will debut String Quartet No. 2, “Harrington,” at its 7:30 p.m. April 10 concert in Mary Moody Northen Recital Hall on WT’s Canyon campus. Tickets are $20. Call 806-651-2840.
Several local students from Canadian and nearby communities earned recognition i WTAMU’s Fall 2025 President’s List and Dean’s List, which were released in conjunction with Fall Commencement Ceremonies. They were:

CANYON — West Texas A&M University Theatre closed out its 2024-2025 season by honoring outstanding students at the annual Branding Iron Theatre Awards.
Several students were honored for their work on the program’s four stage productions over the last academic year.
CANYON — Student scholars for the 2024-2025 cohort of a prestigious West Texas A&M University program have been announced. Among those named to this year’s Rogers Lead WT cohort is Oscar Navarro, a sophomore accounting major from Canadian.
The Dyke and Terry Rogers Leadership Education and Development Program, or Rogers LEAD WT, was created in 2012 to challenge high-achieving students to further develop their leadership potential.
