To the community

of Canadian

THANK YOU SO MUCH for allowing us to be a part of this community for the past 27 years. We have been blessed by such wonderful people and the friendships we have made are special. We’ve truly enjoyed our time here serving the students of Canadian side by side with you. It became more of a family than it did job. Together, we have experienced both triumph and tragedy. We will always love this community.

We also want to thank you for helping us raise our children. Our boys have learned exceptional lessons of character. They learned about work ethic, perseverance, service to others and being gracious to others. It is because of how you taught them. Our teachers, coaches and community have made a lifelong impression on them, of which we are certainly grateful for as parents.

Thank you for raising us as adults! We came to Canadian when we were 26 years old. It was a huge chance you took on such young people. You were a patient community that allowed us to grow and learn from some of the best. We are appreciative for all the opportunities given to us to move forward in our careers. It is our hope that our contributions serve as a positive return on your investment in us. We hope to take the lessons we learned and share them with others in this new journey.

We especially want to thank our church family for always loving us and guiding us. We have been blessed beyond measure to have served alongside you in missions, both here and abroad. You have tremendously huge hearts for service to others. We’ve been blessed by your presence in our lives. We also pray we will take lessons we have learned and share with others as we encounter new people.

It’s been a pleasure developing relationships with fellow educators. We are grateful to our administration team, coaches and their families for being an extended family to us. We have relied heavily on you all of these years during the best and worst times. You’ve been a tremendous support to each of us. We will miss you so much.

The timing of it all has made this process a whirlwind. We wish we could personally say proper good-byes. But as you know, school is just around the corner and Kyle is already on the job. We are confident that the excellence of Canadian schools will continue. The expectation of greatness will continue to be the cornerstone of success. We are excited to see Dr. Pulliam and his leadership team take our District to even greater heights. We will continue to follow the community and will always have a piece of Canadian in our hearts. Please know that we will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. We love you all so very much.
