The CHS Theatre Department will perform Spoon River: Set Free on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Texas Crown, with back-to-back shows at 6 pm and 7:30 pm.

The Canadian Wildcat junior varsity held the Highland Park Hornets scoreless in all four quarters Thursday evening while racking up 33 unanswered points to remain undefeated in district play. Quarterback Cree Waite completed 13-of-23 passes for 104 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed for another 37 yards, to lead the offense.

CMS Cats Jose Vargas, Juan Vargas, and Julian Dominguez are pretty easy to spot out on the cross-country course. More often than not, they run together and they finish in front.

After a rough start to their season, the seventh-grade Wildcats improved to 2-2 overall and an undefeated 2-0 district record last Thursday with their 22-0 shutout over the Highland Park Hornets. The Cats sent Highland Park packing on their first possession with a fourth-down stop at the 28-yard line.
