I would like to send a sincere thank you to Nate Fredley, who put his Angel wings on to stop and change a blown-out tire on a back road in Kansas even when he was pressed for time with another appointment!

On Monday, May 27, 2024, a small gathering of citizens gathered at the Edith Ford Cemetery in Canadian for Memorial Day services.

The annual Children’s Fishing Tournament held June 1 at Lake Fryer attracted 137 entries this year. April Snyder, member of the Wolf Creek Advisory Committee, said 16 adult volunteers and several youth volunteers helped with the event.
