Arionna Black a recent graduate of Canadian High School competed in the 800 meter run at the Nike Outdoor National meet. The meet was held at historic Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. The track at Hayward Field is the site of Olympic trials, NCAA championships, and World championships and is considered the premier track facility in the US.

Arionna ran in the Emerging Elite division and had to meet a qualifying standard based on times recorded during her spring track season.
Arionna ran a 2:18 which was just short of her State Qualifying time of 2:16 during her track season.  The meet took place over four days with athletes from all 50 States competing.

Arionna will be running cross country and track at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, in the fall.
