NOTICE IS HEREBY PROVIDED TO THE RESIDENTS OF CANADIAN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT that, pursuant to Texas Education Code Section 11.1541, the Canadian Independent School District Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing concerning the possible donation of real property to the Higgins-Lipscomb Hospital District, a political subdivision of the State of Texas.

The property being considered for donation was formerly used as the Higgins ISD kindergarten building and ag shop, located in Higgins, Texas and is more particularly described as follows:

All of Lots No. Ten (10), Eleven (11), and
Twelve (12) in Block One (1) of the City
of Higgins, Lipscomb County, Texas.

The hearing will be held on August 11, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the Administration Building, Canadian ISD, 800 Hillside Ave., Canadian, TX 79014.
