REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS

The Board of Trustees of Canadian ISD is requesting qualifications for professional architect and/or engineer (“A/E”) services relating to the assessment, design and contract administration for relating to construction of a new facility for livestock and show animals (the “Ag Facility Project”). Qualifications will be accepted until 2:00 pm on Friday, February 27, 2026 (the “deadline”). Interested parties may request an information packet and questionnaire from Dr. Julia McMains, Superintendent, at (806) 323-5393 or julia.mcmains@canadianisd.net.  Please enclose one (1) original, two (2) hard copies and a USB drive with your completed response annotated as follows:

Failure to have a response physically in the possession of the school district by the deadline shall result in the response not being considered.

The selection of an A/E shall be in accordance with Texas Government Code §2254.004.

WAIVER OF CLAIMS:  BY TENDERING A RESPONSE TO THE RFQ, THE A/E ACKNOWLEDGES THAT IT HAS READ AND FULLY UNDERSTANDS THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMITTING A RESPONSE AND THE PROCESS USED BY THE DISTRICT FOR SELECTING THE MOST HIGHLY QUALIFIED A/E.  FURTHER, BY SUBMITTING A RESPONSE, THE A/E FULLY, VOLUNTARILY AND UNDERSTANDINGLY WAIVES AND RELEASES ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST THE DISTRICT AND ANY OF ITS TRUSTEES, OFFICERS, AGENTS AND/OR EMPLOYEES THAT COULD ARISE OUT OF THE EVALUATION, RECOMMENDATION OR SELECTION OF AN A/E IN RESPONSE TO THIS RFQ.
